What We Are Doing

Food
We are implementing our GALD farms, which are organic/biodynamic farms specifically for poultry, fishery and vegetable farming. Since they are organically produced, we hope to bring healthy options into the market, raise the awareness of healthy eating and living among communities were our farms are situated and contribute in achieving some of the UN Sustainable Development Goals such as No poverty, Zero hunger and Good health and well-being.
Education
In order to help individuals, become independent and self-reliant, education is vital. Through our practical internship, which is spot on in our GLAD Farms, we intend to teach the right sustainable methods to help improve the earning power of these individuals and sustain the environment. Hence contributing towards UN SDG such as Sustainable cities and communities, Quality education, Gender equality and Decent work and economic growth.
Financial Resources
It isn’t enough to train people on how to farm sustainably, we will also help them set up these farms. This we will achieve through the help of partners and grants from kind hearted volunteers. We remain on as the off taker of the produce for any farm we help set up, so as to give others an equal chance at the same opportunity.
Team Building
One of our focal point is to create a system of interdependent, independent organic farmers, who realize it is not about competition, but cooperation. We realize that when the system is interdependent, everyone can benefit from it and thus increase their bottom line, together. This will in turn contribute towards the implementation of such UNSDG as Reduced inequalities and Industry, innovation and infrastructure.
